We were in Cartagena for one day during our Celebrity Cruise. I contacted Martin by email to arrange a tour for 4 of us. Unfortunately Martin was already booked for that day. He offered to have us tour with an associate tour guide Ed Fuentes. We agreed; and were we lucky. Martin’s associates met us at the dock. Ed and our driver were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. We toured several places around the city. Ed was willing to adjust the itinerary to what we requested without problems. Cartagena is a beautiful city and Ed was a great ambassador. My mother and I visited Cartagena for just one day aboard Celebrity Infinity on 26 April 2014. We had been to Cartagena before but had our teen sons with us this time. We had ideas of how we wanted to spend our day and discussed it with William. William’s English was excellent. He planned our route and added a few interesting stops along the way for taking photos. We missed La Popa before so that’s where we began. Went to San Felipe de Barajas Castle then off to Old Town. William allowed us to set the pace. At our request he took us shopping at Las Bóvedas and then to Joyeria Caribe Jewelers to buy my emeralds. The pace was perfect and William was very easy going and accommodated our every wish, stopping for cold water and beer at our request. We always felt safe with William. William offered a lot of information and made our tour very interesting and enjoyable. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Martin picked up my wife and me at our hotel and gave us a 4 hour tour in gis air conditioned car. couldn’t imagine that we’d have seen as much as we did had we just took a 4 hour walking tour. martin took us to see the Popa and the fort where we got out and walked around and he also drove us thru the old city center, where he parked just outside the walls and then we walked thru parts of the old town. Martin has an excellent grasp of the history of Cartagena and provided us with an excellent tour. would highly recommend a tour with Martin when you visit Cartagena.
