The Rosario Islands are a small group of islands a few kilometers south of Cartagena, reachable by boat. The Rosario islands offer tourists a variety of options for spending a day or two. Most people chose to take the day trip and spend it on one of the beach resorts’ private beaches or pool areas.

We had a great time touring the Rosario Islands with Juan Carlos on December 31, 2014. We contacted Martin after finding his name online in the afternoon on December 30, and he was able to arrange a fabulous tour for us in very little time. He was easy to communicate with and very efficient, and he and Juan Carlos met us at our hotel the morning of the tour. The boat we took was clean and spacious, and Juan Carlos was very knowledgeable about the different islands and the different activities. We stopped at Playa Blanca for a deliciously authentic fish lunch, and enjoyed a day filled with lots of sun, sand and waves. A great last day of 2014, thanks to Martin and Juan Carlos!

When I went to the Rosario Islands in Cartagena de Indias I really enjoyed the aquarium where I was able to swim with dolphins. I also really enjoyed the food in one of the restaurants I thinks it is a wonderful place to enjoy the sea relax and conect with nature
